Black Butler 19th c. Stitch

Description

Hello! Lately, I've been watching Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler, and I wanted to do some cross stitched fanart for it! When it came time to make the patterns, though, I thought that since the show took place in Victorian England, rather than doing anime styled or sprite based stitching, I would pattern the design after some DMC charts printed in Europe in the late 19th centure. It's a little high concept, maybe, but after stitching Sebastian and Grell here, I don't think it was a bad decision. Plus, if you look really closely at Grell's (the red-head) vest, you can see where I used a glitter floss along with some craft thread in order to create a heathered fabric, since that's obviously what counts.

Please pardon my spelling at any point where it may have gone wrong.

This was stitched onto 10 count plastic canvas with craft thread based on patterns I scribbled onto oversized graph paper. When I was done, I then made a temporary frame from the scrapbook paper I use for star folding and some cardstock to try and class up the whole thing.
