Needlepoint Team Rocket's Trap

Hello! Ever since I've been cross stitching, I've wanted to try and stitch one of the card sprites from the Game Boy Pokemon Trading Card Game. I've seen a couple of them perlered, which looks fantastic, but sitting down and cross stitching one of them seemed, for lack of a better description, tedious, boring, and miserable. Last week, however, Sprite Database [link] posted a bunch of the card sprites from the never-released-in-the-US Pokemon Card GB2, and, since I had a bunch of plastic canvas and craft thread ready to go, decided to try doing one in needlepoint! I picked Team Rocket's Trap as my project, because it looked cool, which I think worked out in the end. Once I finished this one, though, I started work on a much brighter card color-wise, and one of an actual Pokemon, too, to see how that one would come out.

This was stitched on 10-count plastic canvas with craft thread.
