X-Stitch Fanart- Hellboy logo

I know, this cross stitch isn't really the Hellboy logo- it's the insignia for the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, but that wouldn't fit in my title bar. :S Anyway, I made this pattern on pattern maker, went to stitch it on a very nice 14-count Aida cloth, and learned a very important lesson- doing blackwork, or at least monochrome, with DMC light effects thread, is an ill-concieved plan. This is only 49 by 49, but it took over 5 hours to do, and despite the shininess of the final product, it frayed like crazy while I was working on it. I like how it came out, but from now on, the shiny thread is for details only.
