Hello! I haven't posted a big project lately, but this Pac-Man arcade cross stitch was my spring break project. It was from a long out of print 1980 cross stitching flyer posted at [link] , a blog which features some really impressive gaming Halloween costumes and lots of Pac-Man content, and when I saw it, I knew that I had to make it. It took a few days to make, even at 106 stitches tall, and it was fun to do something that required backstitching and French knots in the middle of all of the sprites I make.

Anyway, I hope that you guys like this, despite my inability to put a piece of fabric in the scanner straight, and thank you to Geoff Fortytwo for posting the pattern! ^^

Oh, this only took a week or so! Because the fabric itself was black, this was a fairly low maintenance project. I'm really fond of this one, though, regardless of the amount of time it took. ^^

Thanks! I really liked how traditional this pattern was, especially since it produced about as accurate a game image as the pixel by pixel stuff does. ^^

Thanks very much! The link I put in the artist comments has quite a few Pac-Man patterns at it, and some really strange ones as well, if you do decide to do one. I really like how the patterns mix game stitching with more traditional techniques.

That is fantastic!

I am new to D.A, it's good to see some cool X-Stitches that aren't the norm!

Thank you very much! I wasn't sure if there'd be any other cross stitching on here when I first started, but there's actually a decently big (and really nice) community of stitchers doing more pop culture friendly work on here. Welcome to deviant art; I hope you like it here! ^^
