X-Stitch Pattern- Erika by missy-tannenbaum X-Stitch Pattern- Erika by missy-tannenbaum
Hello, yet again! Continuing on my sprite pattern to scraps dumping rampage, I am posting a pattern for Erika, the Celadon City Gym Leader from the Pokemon games. This pattern is from her sprite in Pokemon Gold and Silver, but it's modified sort of oddly. There aren't any major changes, but I added some colors so that I didn't get bored making her, and did some things so that Dark Lilac, which I was using at the time that I made this, could spit out a chart more easily. (It's a really good resource a lot of times, but it can really mess up sprites, modded or not.)

Anyway, my finished version of this is here: [link] and I actually started her a year ago to the day! If any of you guys make her, I would love to see it!

Actually, when I made this, I was only using DMC thread for the outlines/black (310), and the skin, which looks like 3774 to me at this point. For the yellow and green, I used floss that I got in a value pack when I first started stitching, so whatever shades of the colors you like best would be the ones I'd recommend. Since the pattern isn't very detailed, I can't see any downfall to doing such a thing.

the pattern is based of her game spirt, but which game was it from., i know i will be fine with the green, becausei have over like 10 diffrent shades of it. and it seems like my dmc thread collection just keeps on growing

Oh, it was from Gold/Silver- I did some recoloring to the sprite, to make it brighter and sunnier looking, as well as a little more interesting to stitch. I just matched the yellow on the original to 445, also.

It is easy for the floss collection to grow- every time that I do a new larger project, I end up with at least 10 new colors. It's sort of nice.

And, between Jolteon and Leafeon, I'd think you'd have every color you could possibly need for Erika. ^^ By the way, I wish you the best of luck with the Eeveelutions project! It sounds really cool.

Ah, for this pattern, she's about 45 high, 40 wide, though I can't specifically remember the count. If you set it to 50 x 50 pixels, she ought to fit in easily, though.

I'm not really familiar with Pokemon but I really like this. I think I'll be stitching this. Thanks for the pattern!
