Faux NES SNK Girls

Hello! As I've been on about both here and my blog lately, I've been doing some custom sprites of King of Fighters characters (and some from other fighters) in the style of the NES bootleg versions of their games. There's really not much behind this picture other than that I wanted to use some of these sprites in a fake screenshot, but that seemed like enough of a justification to actually do so. It's not the most detailed thing in the world, but in order to get it to look accurate, I used an NES palette for the colors, made sure that it was at the same resolution as the screen on an NES game, and made sure there were only 3 colors (plus the transparent blocks) on each sprite! Other than that, I'm sure there are 9 million problems with this that make it totally inaccurate, but at the very least, it was fun!

From left to right, the characters here are B. Jenet, Athena Asamiya, and Kula Diamond.

I also have to thank TR Rose at [link] for ripping the Super Mario Brothers font! It's sort of interesting, but I'd been going to her website for years and recently found out she was 's sister! The internet is very tiny.
